The Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Store Management professional to oversee daily store operations, support sales performance, maintain high service standards, and ensure efficient execution of retail processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a retail professional who enjoys leading teams, improving store performance, managing customer experiences, and coordinating day-to-day operations within an international working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth business activities.
• Manage store opening, closing, staffing, and operational procedures.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise store employees.
• Assign daily responsibilities, shifts, and operational tasks.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs.
• Develop initiatives to improve sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Coordinate with Merchandising teams to maintain effective product presentation.
• Ensure products are correctly displayed, priced, labeled, and stocked.
• Monitor inventory levels and support accurate stock management.
• Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged products, and inventory losses.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, replenishment, transfers, and dispatch activities.
• Monitor stock availability and communicate replenishment requirements.
• Support loss prevention and shrinkage reduction initiatives.
• Ensure store layouts and visual merchandising standards are maintained.
• Implement promotional campaigns, seasonal displays, and commercial initiatives.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Merchandising teams on promotions and launches.
• Monitor store cleanliness, organization, safety, and overall presentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.
• Monitor cash handling, POS operations, refunds, exchanges, and daily reconciliation processes.
• Review store reports covering sales, inventory, staffing, and operational performance.
• Analyze store KPIs and identify areas requiring corrective action.
• Prepare regular management reports and performance updates.
• Train new employees on store procedures, customer service, systems, and company standards.
• Conduct coaching and performance discussions with team members.
• Manage staff attendance, scheduling, leave, and workforce coverage.
• Coordinate with HR regarding recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee matters.
• Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers when required.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Support cost-control initiatives and effective use of store resources.
• Maintain accurate store documentation and operational records.
• Ensure confidential customer, employee, and business information is properly handled.
• Stay informed about retail trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of store operations and customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Retail Management, Business Administration, Sales, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in store management, retail operations, or a related role.
• Proven experience supervising retail teams and managing daily store operations.
• Strong understanding of sales, inventory, merchandising, and customer service processes.
• Experience working with POS, inventory management, ERP, or retail management systems.
• Strong knowledge of retail KPIs, sales targets, conversion, average transaction value, and productivity metrics.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of loss prevention, stock control, and cash-handling procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and retail reporting tools.
• UAE/GCC retail experience is an advantage but not required.
• Relevant retail management or customer service certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
