You will be managing design consultants, contractors and Contractor Design Portion elements from selection through delivery. You will be providing ongoing technical and design support from early RIBA stages through construction and handover. You will be ensuring all designs meet required standards, regulations, specifications and include appropriate risk assessments. You will be coordinating procurement approaches, documentation, design deliverables and progress reporting. You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure maintainable, sustainable and compliant project outcomes. What We're Looking For: Qualifications: You will have a recognised qualification in Building, Engineering or Architecture, supported by strong design management experience on complex multi-funded projects. Experience: You will have current working knowledge of building regulations, fire standards, sustainability improvements and defence-related design requirements, with exposure to PFI, PPP and two-stage tendering. Skills: You will have excellent communication and IT skills, strong organisational abilities, the capacity to influence and guide others, and a flexible, pragmatic approach within changing environments.
