About the Opportunity: The Strategic Initiatives Intern partners with organizational leaders to advance high-impact initiatives that improve clinical outcomes, operational effectiveness, financial performance, and technology adoption. This role is designed for individuals who are curious, self-motivated, and passionate about driving meaningful change. Unlike a traditional project management internship focused primarily on task tracking and administrative support, the Strategic Initiatives Intern serves as a thought partner, problem solver, and change agent. Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Strategic Initiative Support Support a portfolio of strategic initiatives across clinical, financial, operational, and information technology functions. Collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct research, analyze data, and develop recommendations to inform decision-making. Assist in the development of business cases, project charters, implementation plans, and executive presentations. Project Leadership & Execution Coordinate project activities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications. Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and track action items. Support project teams in overcoming obstacles and achieving desired outcomes. Progressively assume ownership of projects, workstreams, or improvement efforts based on performance and demonstrated capability. Lead select initiatives independently with guidance. Required Qualifications : Currently pursuing a master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field. Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Interest in healthcare, business transformation, process improvement, technology, or organizational development.
