Job Description Strategic Underwriter Motor Your Tasks Driving of portfolio planning, steering and underwriting excellence initiatives for one or more markets in the motor division of HDI Global SE Steering local branches by KPI Co-creation of local underwriting strategy Ensuring execution on local underwriting strategy Referral underwriting for major accounts Upskilling and training of local underwriters Contribution to expert groups in underwriting topics and to the development of a true global underwriting community Foster collaboration amongst relevant stakeholders Your Profile Completed studies in insurance and finance, training in insurance and finance with further training as an insurance specialist or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in underwriting, product development or strategy development/portfolio management of motor risks for industrial and corporate clients Interest in an international role and experience Communication and presentation skills as well as a confident and convincing manner Strong analytical skills Comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office package Willingness to travel and flexibility Very good written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages are an advantage Flexible working hours Flexitime arrangements and flexible working time models allow for a perfect work-life balance – however it suits you.
