Strategy Analyst | 60-70%

ETH juniors is looking for a project expert to support an early-stage tech startup that is building a modular IoT and AI platform for events, hospitality and SMEs, covering topics such as RFID-tracked reusable tableware, payment integration and CO₂ monitoring. The founder has a clear vision; your job is to turn it into a plan that public funding bodies (incl. EU programmes) can say yes to.

Over roughly four weeks (14 working days in total), you will work alongside two ETH juniors project leads to define the work packages needed to build the product, estimate effort and costs, and translate everything into a financial roadmap, an implementation timeline and a pitch deck.

• Ongoing or completed degree (BSc/MSc) in business, finance, economics, management, engineering with a business focus or similar
  
• Solid financial modelling skills in Excel (cost planning, cash flow, capital requirements)
  
• Experience with startup planning and scaling, business plans or funding applications is a strong plus
  
• Ability to structure an ambitious, early-stage vision into clear, well-scoped work packages
  
• Strong storytelling and slide skills; experience in design or marketing is a plus
  
• Interest in hardware/IoT, sustainability and the event or hospitality industry
  
• Independent, structured way of working and confidence in client conversations
  
• Fluent English; German is a plus but not required
