In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies that drive growth, foster innovation, and secure a competitive advantage. Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy, Propositions and Insights you will be responsible for conducting in-depth market analysis and evaluating critical business opportunities, including M&A and group-level business development initiatives. As our Strategy Manager, you will be a critical member of the Strategy team, partnering with our C-Suite and Senior Executive Teams, leading high-impact strategic projects that align with our company’s long-term goals and to inform decision-making at the highest levels of our group. This is an exceptional opportunity for a management consultant looking utilise their well-developed consulting toolkit within the TV and Entertainment or an experienced corporate advisory professional with a strong M&A or media background. Key Responsibilities Support the development of long-term strategy and short-term business plans for the Foxtel Group - supporting key business units including BINGE & Kayo Sports Support the Leadership Teams to identify, assess, and evaluate key business initiatives through data-driven analysis and business case modelling (e.g., customer acquisition, pricing and revenue optimisation & sports rights acquisition) Contribute to potential M&A projects and broader corporate development initiatives across the Foxtel Group, identifying opportunities for strategic growth and expansion Work collaboratively with internal teams across Research, Insights, Finance, Legal and the Foxtel BU to identify new opportunities that deliver greater in-year benefits and help the group achieve its revenue goals Manage and influence stakeholders to empower business decisions in line with our strategic plan and provide input on prioritisation across the group's diverse portfolio. Build strong relationships at all levels in teams across the broader Foxtel Group Skills and Experiences We’re Looking For 5 years + Management Consulting / Corporate Strategy background, (Tier 1 or 2 highly desirable) or strong M&A Corporate Advisory experience (Big 4 or Investment Banking). Strong commercial and strategic acumen with experience and understanding of how to build robust data-led business cases Strong strategic thinking skills, with an ability to simplify and solve complex problems with a framework Strong communicator and team player, with the ability and confidence to present and influence stakeholders, collaborate effectively and to build strong relationships at all levels Ability to work autonomously occasionally and lead projects with minimal guidance Excellent ability to create high-quality quantitative analysis and written materials for presentation to C-Suite & Senior Management Love for Entertainment, Sport, Media landscape - we’re big believers in knowing the product and knowing the customer Life at Foxtel Group A career with us means working across one or more of our brands including Foxtel, Hubbl, Kayo Sports, BINGE, Flash, Fox Sports and Foxtel Media.
