Why this job is important
As Strategy Manager, you’ll help shape the strategic direction of Kantar’s Solutions and Product organisation.
Working with senior leaders across Solutions & Product, Commercial, Finance and Engineering, you’ll help answer some of our most important questions: Where should we focus? Which opportunities should we invest in? And how do we turn those choices into product roadmaps and business results?
This is a varied, high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, product and transformation. One project might involve sizing a new market opportunity and developing the case for investment; another could focus on roadmap priorities or redesigning how part of the organisation operates.
You’ll take complex questions from initial problem definition through analysis and recommendation, helping turn strategic decisions into practical action.
What you’ll be doing
- Support business planning and strategic decision-making across Solutions and Product.
- Assess market and commercial opportunities through market sizing, competitor analysis, client insight and financial modelling.
- Develop business cases and recommendations to inform investment and prioritisation decisions.
- Help shape Product and Solutions roadmaps using market, client and commercial evidence.
- Lead strategy and transformation projects from problem definition through to recommendation and implementation planning.
- Translate strategy into clear plans, milestones and measures of success.
- Build trusted relationships across Product, Solutions, Commercial, Finance and Engineering.
- Develop and present clear recommendations to senior leaders, including executive and board-level audiences.
The ideal skills & experience
You may come from management consulting, corporate strategy, product strategy or an in-house strategy and transformation environment.
You’ll bring:
- Strong structured problem-solving skills and confidence working with ambiguity.
- Excellent analytical and commercial capabilities, including market sizing, financial modelling and business-case development.
- Experience turning complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- An understanding of how strategy informs product, roadmap and investment decisions.
- Experience leading complex projects from initial question through to implementation planning.
- Strong communication, storytelling and stakeholder influencing skills.
- The judgement, curiosity and autonomy to operate effectively in a fast-moving, matrixed organisation.
Experience within a leading management consultancy would be particularly valuable, although we’re also interested in candidates who have developed comparable strategic capabilities in a relevant in-house environment.
What’s in it for you
You’ll join Kantar at a point when we’re investing in AI and technology and evolving how intelligence is delivered. You’ll have the opportunity to tackle complex strategic questions and contribute to decisions that shape what comes next.
