Location: Fully Remote – International (Latin America Preferred) – Bi-Lingual Spanish and English Required

What You’ll Do

• Design and analyze pre-engineered steel structures: buildings, catwalks, platforms, and equipment supports
• Engineer building systems including trusses, bracing, connections, cold-formed framing, and fastening systems
• Support estimating and budgeting with accurate structural input
• Collaborate with drafting teams to develop BIM models in Tekla
• Review material takeoffs and drawings for engineering accuracy
• Maintain and improve internal design tools (Excel-based)
• Respond to fabricator RFIs and review shop drawings
• Conduct occasional site visits and specialized inspections
• Lead and redline erection drawings for completeness
• Coordinate with sales, designers, and contractors to ensure project success
• Manage timelines and support personnel to meet engineering goals

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 2+ years of experience with ASCE 7 structural design standards
• Proficiency in hot-rolled and cold-formed steel design (AISC, AISI)
• Experience with structural modeling software (RISA or similar)
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Spanish proficiency is a plus
• Based in Latin America is a plus
• U.S. travel visa eligibility is required
• Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial
