Structural/Hull Designer | ZH | Marine/Offshore | English speaking possible

Focus Engineering is looking for a Structural Designer for one of our clients in the Rotterdam region, operating within the Maritime & Offshore industry.

This is a permanent position with our client.

Our client is an internationally operating engineering organization active in the maritime and offshore sector. From the Netherlands, a dedicated engineering team works on complex maritime structures and offshore projects for clients worldwide.

The Job:

• Responsible for designing and developing 3D models and 2D construction drawings for marine and offshore structures
• Independently manage design activities, coordinate with engineers, and ensure compliance with technical project requirements

Who are you?

• MBO or HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D modelling and construction drawings within the maritime or offshore industry
• Experience with Cadmatic (preferred)
