Student Assistant

EG A/S

Is this job info correct?
Do you get more energy from setting up an agent than from writing the same script by hand? And can you barely wait to show a colleague how smart you solved a problem?

If you're technical and comfortable with prompting, agents, and GitHub - and maybe even have a feel for product analytics and evals - then you might be our next Student Assistant in Product Management at EG!

As Part of the Department

At EG Digital Welfare, we build software that solves real problems for citizens and employees across the welfare sector - spanning HSEQ, EdTech, self-service, and case management systems for the social and youth area. We work in a product-led organization, and our customers are primarily Danish and Norwegian municipalities and regions.

You'll join our Product Management team - Product Managers, UX designers and Business Analysts - spread across our offices in Aarhus, Ballerup, Odense and Aalborg. You'll get your base at one of these locations.

Your Tasks: Scaling AI-Powered Tools

You'll work closely with your colleagues to build the tools and workflows that make the team faster and sharper - not by writing product features, but by building the AI-powered infrastructure behind how we work. Your tasks will include:

  • Building and maintaining internal GitHub, AI tools and Claude skills that our our team use day to day.
  • Setting up and refining agents for tasks like research, documentation and reporting.
  • Turning product and customer data into analyses, insights and visualizations.
  • Setting up evals to test and improve the agents and workflows you build.
  • Training colleagues in the AI tools and workflows you build.
  • Being a sparring partner when the team wants to try a new AI-based approach to a problem.

You Are the Ideal Candidate If

It doesn't matter what you're studying - what matters is that you're curious, technical and dare to think the impossible. You need to:

  • Have a technical-oriented mindset - and would rather solve a problem in Claude Code than grind through it by hand.
  • Be a strong prompter who knows how to get an LLM to do exactly what's needed and enjoy setting up and refining agents.
  • Be comfortable working in GitHub, versioning etc.
  • Speak and write Danish and English fluently.

It's a plus if you also:

  • Have a feel for product analytics and evals.

We care more about what you can build than about your CV. If you have a side project, a GitHub repo, or a problem you've solved in a smart way, put that at the top of your application - not your course list.

What Can You Expect From Us?

You'll get hands-on experience with modern, AI-driven product management - not theory. You'll be part of a team that believes in transparency, learning, and making a real difference. In addition, we offer you:

  • Real ownership of AI tools.
  • A learning-oriented environment with experienced colleagues working at the forefront of AI in Nordic public-sector software.
  • Flexible working hours that fit around your studies.
  • Possibility of remote work.
  • A network across EG's product organization.

Practical Info

  • Working hours: 10-22 hours/week by agreement.
  • Start date: as soon as possible.
  • We will start reviewing applications on 12 August at the earliest.

Our Values

  • Lead the Industry - We bring deep industry expertise and help our customers lead their industry.
  • Make it Happen - We take ownership, move fast and deliver real impact.
  • Stronger Together - We collaborate across borders with high standards, trust, openness and no politics.

We Look Forward to Hearing From You!

If you have questions about the position - or just want an informal chat about what it's like to work with us - reach out to Head of Product Management, Ole Vilster, on +45 61982747 or [email protected]. We will start reviewing applications on 12 August at the earliest and hire when we find the right candidate, so please send your application as soon as possible. All enquiries are handled confidentially.

At EG, we build software that makes a difference.

Our industry-specific software help people and businesses work smarter every day. From doctors spending more time with patients to builders running safer, more efficient projects.

Our software is built by peers from the industry and backed by EG’s scale for stability, innovation, and security. If you’re ambitious, curious, and take pride in ownership, you’ll thrive here. You’ll be trusted to grow your skills, shape meaningful solutions, and make an impact together with talented colleagues across borders.

Join us in creating software that works for people — not software that makes people work.
