Student Assistant - Healthcare

Shape the medical language behind the AI that Norwegian GPs use every day.

As part of the department
We welcome medical students to join our Healthcare AI team in a part-time position (Up til 19 hours a week on the students jobs) alongside your studies, based in Norway. You will work closely with the international product and development team behind EG AI for healthcare, a suite of AI products used widely by general practitioners and specialists in Norway and Denmark. The products support clinical documentation and actions, such as journal notes, referral letters and certificates, and are powered by AI agents for the healthcare sector. Our focus is to make sure that the content EG AI generates is medically correct, complete and recognizable, and that it provides real value.
The position is based at our Bergen office at Inger Bang Lunds vei 14, Bergen, Norway.

Your Tasks: Curating Medical Language & Quality-Checking AI

• Expand and quality-check medical vocabularies and terminology in Norwegian, for general practice and selected specialties.

• Produce and quality-check validation datasets (“golden cases”) for the use cases EG AI for healthcare targets.

• Contribute to specialty-specific adaptations of EG's AI agents for healthcare, together with the product team.

• Help ensure that AI-generated content is medically correct, clinically acceptable, and complete.

You are the ideal candidate if you

• Are a medical student (stud. Med.), at least in your 4th year.

• Are fluent in Norwegian, written and spoken.

• Work precisely and in a structured way.

• Have strong written communication skills.

• Enjoy working both independently and in a team.

• An interest in health technology and/or artificial intelligence is an advantage.

• Can commit roughly 20% of your time on an hourly basis, alongside your studies.

• Are based in Norway. Physical attendance at EGs Bergen-office is required occasionally.
