Reporting to: Maria Orjuela-Laverde

Location: Remote and in-person activities on campus

Hiring unit: Teaching and Academic Programs

Hourly rate: Masters student- $20+4% vacation indemnity

Hours: Up to 2 hours per week

Duration: ASAP to December 4, 2026

Position Context


Teaching and Academic Programs (TAP) is seeking undergraduate or master students to be involved in a Student as Partners initiative.

Primary Responsibilities

• Attend the Fall 2026 orientation session;
• Attend meetings with instructors;
• Provide feedback, when requested, to Project Lead on the SaP process.


Job Requirements/Minimum Education/ Experience


• To be eligible for this job, you must have access to a computer and high-speed internet, webcam and microphone;
• Must be able to present yourself on campus for in-person activities;
• Must be able to work in Canada and have a valid SIN number.


Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Students applying should indicate knowledge/experience in any of the following areas:


• Organization and time management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to interact with instructors
• Familiarity with web conferencing technology (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom)
