Background The Student Wellbeing Officer for the School of Policy and Global Affairs (Professional Services) works closely with the Quality and Student Experience Manager, Associate Dean for Student Experience, senior School staff and central student services. The role oversees processes supporting the student journey, coordinating wellbeing, welfare, safeguarding, engagement, progression and retention activities. It also ensures students understand and can access appropriate support services, enhancing their overall experience and successful progression throughout their studies. Responsibilities The Student Wellbeing Officer supports the Quality and Student Experience Manage to enhance the student experience by coordinating and delivering wellbeing activities and initiatives across the School. The role provides personalised support to students, works closely with University services to ensure appropriate referrals and support reasonable adjustments, monitors the effectiveness of wellbeing interventions, maintains confidential records, represents the School on safeguarding matters and develops collaborative partnerships to promote inclusive, accessible support and improve student outcomes. Person Specification Please refer to the Job Description document. Additional Information This role is offered on a hybrid working basis. The successful candidate will be required to work on campus at the Clerkenwell site for 60% of their working time (equivalent to three days per week), with the remaining time worked remotely, subject to business needs. Friday is a designated anchor day for the team and, as such, candidates should be available to work on campus on Fridays.
