** Responsibilities
City St George's Students' Union represents over 28,000 students across three campuses. The Communities Team supports more than 250 student-led societies, fundraising groups and media organisations, helping students build connections, develop skills and create a sense of belonging. This fixed-term role will provide essential administrative and operational support to student communities, enabling the safe and successful delivery of activities, events and opportunities that enhance the student experience.
Provide administrative and operational support for student societies, fundraising and media groups.
Coordinate key processes including memberships, finance requests, room bookings, risk assessments, event approvals and external speaker requests.
Support student leaders, maintain accurate records, monitor budgets, liaise with stakeholders and contribute to the delivery of student events and activities.
Help ensure groups operate safely, effectively and in line with Students' Union policies and procedures.
** Person Specification
The successful candidate will have experience providing high-quality administration in a busy, customer-focused environment and be able to manage multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail. They will have strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, experience supporting events or projects, and confidence maintaining administrative systems and records. Applicants should be committed to excellent customer service, inclusivity and supporting student engagement and development.
** Additional Information
This is a fixed-term Grade 4 position until 31 July 2027. The role will be based primarily across the Clerkenwell, Tooting and Moorgate campuses, with an expectation of at least four days on campus per week during term time. Some evening and weekend working will be required to support student activities and major Students' Union events.
