As a MuleSoft Integration intern, you will get real time exposure to integration with Salesforce and other Enterprise applications using MuleSoft. You will report to the Engineering Delivery Manager.

An internship with American Family Insurance is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10 to 14 week program that starts in mid to late May and ends in August.​

During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities. You'll also gain exposure to different areas of our business and have numerous opportunities for networking and coaching.​

Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to an AmFam office location.​

Compensation Minimum: $25.00​​

​Requirements​
Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship, graduating August 2027 or later.​

Primary Accountabilities
• Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives.
• Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations.
• Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management.
• May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles.
• Presents project results to management and/or department personnel.
• Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
• You will bring strong coding experience with Java or C. MuleSoft or Salesforce experience a plus but not required.

• Computer Science, or related majors, strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
• Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.
• Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.

Additional Information

  • To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week.  This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth.  At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability.
