Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to an AmFam office location.

As a Partnership Finance intern, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop analytical skills by supporting financial reporting, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and analyzing data to support our stakeholders. You will be directly involved in the topline planning and reforecasting cycle for several key partnerships within one of American Family’s major operating companies. You will attend our business partner meetings, assist with weekly and monthly reporting, be given the tools and resources needed to assist with making processes more efficient, and support ad-hoc projects as needed. You will be joining a team of seven who are based out of the Boston and Madison area and will report to Nick Marella.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of our business, corporate culture and structure to support your work.
- Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations.
- Support the monthly topline forecasting and annual planning process.
- Conduct variance analysis and review financial data to track drivers and identify trends.
- Business partnering across various teams to support the analysis around Partnerships topline.
- Partner with team members on ad-hoc analytical projects, gaining exposure to various areas of corporate finance.
Requirements
- Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship, graduating August 2027 or later.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree
- Major/program must align with internship role.
- Strong cumulative GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; any experience with AI tools is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail when handling financial data and reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Travel Requirements
• Up to 10%.

- To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week. This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth. At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability.

- Bachelors degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
- Rising Junior (graduation date 2028) is preferred.
