Are you passionate about event planning, marketing, client experience, and project coordination? Our Meeting & Event Management Internship Program, offers valuable real-world experience supporting conferences, meetings, webinars, and special events across our North American businesses. As part of the Marketing team, you will collaborate with experienced event professionals, gain exposure to large-scale corporate events, and contribute to creating exceptional attendee experiences.


This opportunity is ideal for students interested in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields who are eager to learn in a fast-paced corporate environment.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Event Planners with the logistical and administrative coordination of meetings, conferences, webinars, and special events.
  • Assist with attendee registration management, reporting, and event communications while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Prepare event materials including agendas, attendee packages, name badges, and presentation resources.
  • Participate in planning meetings and support project coordination activities across multiple events and initiatives.
  • Conduct research on venues, suppliers, speakers, and industry best practices to support event planning efforts.
  • Support post-event survey collection, reporting, and analysis to measure event effectiveness and attendee satisfaction.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance attendee experiences, operational processes, and team efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and support special projects aligned to business objectives.
  • Assist with additional event-related and administrative activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced corporate setting.
  • Previous involvement in student organizations, volunteer initiatives, campus events, hospitality roles, or event planning activities is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with event management platforms, such as Cvent, is considered an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between:

$40,950 CAD - $56,550 CAD


The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro-rated based on the length of the work term.
