Supervisory Analyst

Overview

Canaccord Genuity is seeking a Supervisory Analyst to join our US Equity Research publications team. We are looking for an experienced professional with excellent communication and diplomacy skills, keen attention to detail, and a proven ability to work under pressure.


This position can be hybrid or full-time remote. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 12pm-8:30pm ET, and Friday, 12pm-6pm ET, with the occasional requirement for additional hours during peak periods.

Essential Job Functions

  • Edit, review, approve and publish US equity research, market commentary, and marketing decks verifying that research reports and other documents meet regulatory requirements and firm standards
  • Work with analysts and associates to ensure that clarity, accuracy, and readability are achieved
  • Partner with compliance department to assure observance of regulations and firm policies, along with conducting a holistic review of invites, public appearances, and pre-trade clearance requests
  • Publish and distribute research to institutional clients
  • Ensure correct grammar and adherence to house style
  • Liaise with global SA team and BlueMatrix Support as required

Required Qualifications

  • At least five years of directly-related experience
  • FINRA Series 16 or FINRA-recognized equivalent
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of applicable regulations and the principles behind them
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce under tight deadlines
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
  • Previous experience using Blue Matrix and/or other research publishing platforms

Compensation

The expected salary range for this particular position is $160,000-$200,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
