Following successful completion of the initial training and 3-month probationary period, the role will move to a hybrid model with the option to work 2 days a week from home and 3 days on-site.
As a Supplier Development Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate supplier onboarding and qualification activities
- Support new product introductions (NPI), supplier transfers and second-source projects
- Manage supplier documentation, project plans and key milestones
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track
- Support supplier audits, assessments and improvement activities
- Help identify and manage risks that could impact supply continuity
- Monitor actions and follow up to ensure successful project completion
The ideal Supplier Development Coordinator will have:
- Experience within Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Engineering or Operations
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience supporting supplier onboarding, qualification or development activities would be advantageous
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
We offer great benefits which include:
- Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 plus bonus
- Hybrid working after probation
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Excellent pension, starting at 6% and increasing to 9.7% after 18 months
- Life assurance, six times your basic salary
- Private medical insurance with BUPA for you and your family
- Free annual eye tests and flu vaccinations
- Employee referral programme where you can earn from £1,000 for each successful hire you recommend
- Career development opportunities within a growing global business
If you're a highly organised coordinator with experience in supplier management and a passion for driving successful project outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
