Turn data into insight and help drive smarter supply chain decisions.

At Muntons, we're passionate about continuous improvement, strong partnerships, and making commercially informed decisions that support our long-term success. We're looking for a Supply Chain Accountant who enjoys getting behind the numbers, understanding what drives performance, and partnering with colleagues across Procurement, Planning and Supply Chain to make a real impact.

This is more than a traditional accounting role. You'll be at the centre of our supply chain operations, helping to shape decisions around product costing, purchasing, inventory, freight and forecasting while providing valuable insight that supports business performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of product standard costing and supporting accurate cost reporting.

  • Analysing purchase price variances and identifying the key drivers behind performance.

  • Monitoring inventory held at external locations and consignment stock arrangements.

  • Providing insight into freight costs, supply chain efficiency and cost control opportunities.

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and working capital planning.

  • Acting as a trusted Finance business partner to Procurement and Supply Chain teams.

  • Investigating trends, risks and opportunities and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining strong financial controls.

What We're Looking For

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

  • Strong management accounting and financial analysis skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex data.

  • A naturally inquisitive mindset and the ability to identify the story behind the numbers.

  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.

  • Experience within manufacturing, food production, supply chain or a similar operational environment would be advantageous.

Why Join Us?

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a successful global manufacturing business. You'll gain exposure to commercial and operational decision-making, work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, and have the opportunity to influence how we manage costs, improve efficiency and support future growth.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary

  • Annual performance based bonus scheme

  • 5% employer pension contribution

  • Health Cash Plan

  • Life Assurance

  • Flexible working opportunities

  • Employee benefits platform

If you're looking for a role where your analysis can drive better decisions, strengthen business performance and support continuous improvement across the supply chain, we'd love to hear from you.
