Job Title: Logistics Specialist Job Description The Logistics Specialist will monitor materials purchased from global suppliers through delivery to contract manufacturing partners. This role involves executing timely and accurate ERP transactions to record supplier fulfillment, inventory transfers, receipts, and material ownership changes. The specialist will validate contract manufacturer purchase orders for accuracy and alignment with approved requirements while maintaining accurate inventory records across supplier, in-transit, and contract manufacturer locations. Responsibilities Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, and material shortages. Partner with Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and external partners to ensure material availability and data accuracy. Perform inventory reconciliations and support audit and period-end activities. Generate reporting and analysis related to inventory, supplier performance, and material movements. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory control and ERP transaction accuracy. Perform other logistics and supply chain support activities as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) to manage inventory and procurement transactions. Strong understanding of inventory control, purchase orders, and material flow processes. Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Preferred Skills & Qualifications 3–7 years of experience in logistics, transportation, import/export, or supply chain operations. Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, technology, or similar operational environments. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, International Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience supporting global logistics operations within a high-growth manufacturing or technology organization. Working knowledge of Incoterms, HTS classifications, customs documentation, and international shipping requirements. Knowledge of international trade compliance and customs regulations. Experience supporting contract manufacturing operations. Experience managing inventory across global supplier networks. Knowledge of inventory accounting and supply chain controls. Work Environment This position is fully remote and requires the ability to work from 10am to 6pm EST. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, MA.
