Position Summary
Supply Chain Analytics Manager is a member of the Network Planning team and has direct responsibilities supporting Transportation partners. This role will be responsible for creating and managing essential forecasting, planning, financial and metric reporting, maintain complex databases, and will work with the Transportation and Finance teams on the development of the yearly budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly projection and close processes. In addition, as a member of the Network Planning team, they will support labor and other forecasting processes as necessary.
Responsibilities
• Manage and enhance key metric reporting such as P&L results, route, mileage, cost per mile, miles per route, product cube per route, pallets per route, fuel consumption and planning metrics to compare against actuals
• Monitor the monthly EIA change in fuel price vs the budgeted and forecasted fuel rates
• Calculate the cost impact on re-alignments and overrides and change in shipment plans
• Analyze, develop and maintain data queries linked to metric and financial reporting
• Support the Transportation team with various analyses for RFP’s and union negotiations
• Analyze transportation metrics to uncover, communicate, and solve for opportunities
• Provide weekly projections, monthly and quarterly P&L reporting for leadership team and DCs to review
• Develop the annual budget planning and forecast models
• Partner with the dedicated and private fleet teams in developing a bottoms up budget and incorporating the necessary initiatives and layers
• Identify and model budget shifts and variance explanations vs previous forecast
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of analytical skills, quantitative skills, and problem-solving skills
• 2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• 2+ years of experience constructing complex models to analyze financial and metric data
• 2+ years of experience working with large databases, SQL or other query tools
• 2+ years of experience working data visualization tools and report development
• 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, supply chain, or distribution
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP experience
• Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or Tableau data visualization experience
• SQL, Snowflake, data mining experience
• Build and maintain complex financial models
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across various audiences
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to meet critical deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and contribute in a team setting
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
