12-month fixed-term contract
5 over 7 days working pattern, with up to 26 weekend working days per year
Manchester city centre - in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and the office two days per week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

We're looking for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join our Supply Chain Services team. In this role, you'll help co-ordinate a range of store-related activities, making sure actions are completed, information is communicated clearly and stakeholders stay aligned. Working with colleagues across Supply Chain, Retail Operations and other support functions, you'll play an important part in keeping activity on track and supporting the smooth running of our stores.

Why this role matters

Behind every great store experience is a team making sure the right activity happens at the right time. As a Supply Chain Co-ordinator, you'll play a key role in bringing people, processes and information together to support our stores. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, gaining valuable exposure to supply chain operations while helping deliver the coordination and support that enables stores to serve our customers brilliantly every day.

What you'll do

• Co-ordinate store-related activity, ensuring actions are tracked, communicated and completed to agreed timescales.
• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, responding to queries and providing updates on ongoing activity.
• Support the administration and maintenance of specialist processes, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Produce and maintain reports, trackers and communications to support effective coordination of activity.
• Ensure stores and stakeholders receive timely and accurate information to support operational delivery.
• Investigate and resolve routine issues, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
• Support reviews of activity to identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring agreed processes and controls are followed.
• Contribute to a consistent approach across the team by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and promoting best practice.

What you’ll bring

We’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you’ll need to bring:

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence working with data, trackers and reporting to monitor progress and support decision-making.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• The ability to follow established processes whilst identifying opportunities to improve them.
• A proactive approach to resolving issues and removing barriers to delivery.
• A customer and colleague-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering a great service.

Why Co-op?

We’re an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we’re powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you’ll also receive:

• An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
• 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
• A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
• Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
• 30% discount on Co-op products and 10% off other brands
• Stream – early access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
• Virtual healthcare including GP appointments, mental health support, nutrition and fitness advice
• 24/7 colleague support service
• Training and support for your development and career progression
• Cycle-to-work scheme
