Supply Chain Coordinator
Hyperscale PowerJob Description
Hyperscale Power is building the power backbone for the AI data center era: a complete power conversion chain from 13.8kV–35kV medium-voltage AC down to 800V DC, combining ultra-compact SiC-based AC/DC and DC/DC power blocks. As we scale from Alpha customer readiness toward Production and Volume Readiness, a reliable supply of critical components – power semiconductors, magnetics, PCBs and mechanical parts – becomes mission-critical.
As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day procurement and supply chain operations that keep our prototype, pilot and volume production on track – reporting to the Head of Operations and working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and our external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
It is a great opportunity to build hands-on supply chain experience in a fast-growing hardware startup, with direct exposure to sourcing, supplier management and production ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
• Contract and purchase raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, services and supplies needed for prototype, pilot and volume production.
• Support supplier and vendor qualification, ensuring their ability to meet technical specifications for critical components – power semiconductors, magnetics, PCBs, and mechanical/enclosure parts.
• Compile and analyze statistical data, track trends and supply chain processes, and maintain necessary records (purchase orders, lead times, inventory levels).
• Coordinate day-to-day communication with suppliers and contract manufacturers (EMS, PCB vendors, logistics partners) on order status, lead times and quality issues.
• Support the Head of Operations in tracking supplier performance and flagging supply chain risks, especially for critical or long-lead-time components.
• Help maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) and sourcing data across the product lifecycle from prototype to volume production.
• Coordinate logistics and inbound/outbound shipments together with our logistics partners.
• Support scaling of the supply base in line with the production ramp as we move from Alpha Customer readiness to Production and Volume Readiness.
Qualifications
• BSc in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration or comparable education, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement or purchasing, ideally in electronics or hardware manufacturing.
• Familiarity with sourcing electronic components (semiconductors, PCBs, magnetics) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple supplier relationships simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset; comfortable working with spreadsheets/ERP systems and tracking data.
• Team player, comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Language skills: fluent in English, spoken and written; German language skills helpful, but not mandatory.
• The job will be located at our HQ in Egg b. Zürich in Switzerland.
Benefits
• Equity + competitive salary.
• Unique technology and market opportunity – validated prototype and first paying customers on the path to volume shipments.
• Hybrid work with flexible working times.
