About the Role Systemex Automation is looking for a dynamic, agile and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain management with diverse experience, including in procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory, distribution, demand planning / material management and supplier relationships, in a growing technology environment where both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach are essential. The person will be responsible for both product and non-product purchasing, managing a team of procurement and warehouse individuals. Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies by commodity or major family of parts, defining direction and the best negotiation approaches. Negotiate, manage and maintain supplier agreements and relationships, including commercial, legal, inventory, quality, service and delivery aspects. Supervise, engage and support a high-performing supply chain team aligned with company growth and new product introductions. Plan and forecast material needs, shipments, orders, deliveries and inventory levels to ensure operational continuity. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze needs, plan purchases of materials, subcontracting, products and services, and optimize the use of the ERP/MRP system. Create, monitor and improve supplier performance indicators while recommending actions that positively impact technology, quality, cost and turnaround time. Manage risks, disruptions, import documentation and compliance with company purchasing policies, procedures and guidelines. Understand equipment manufacturing and assembly sequences to prioritize purchases, manufacturing and assemblies, while visiting suppliers as needed for negotiations or issue resolution. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management or a related field, combined with a minimum of 10 years of experience, mainly in procurement, purchasing or supply chain within the manufacturing sector. Strong experience in commodity strategy development, negotiation, supplier management and process optimization. Engaging leadership, people management skills, sense of responsibility, sound judgment and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving, planning, project management, communication, presentation and writing skills, with strong rigor in execution. Someone that can grown in the role with the company as it in a major growth phase. Proficiency with an ERP/MRP system, Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel; excellent command of spoken and written French and English, with availability to visit suppliers as needed.
