POSITION TITLE: Survey Assistant (Part Time/Temp)

SUMMARY: AIP is looking for a Survey Assistant to join our Research Team to start on or about November 2nd, 2026.
The Survey Assistant provides administrative and clerical support for survey-based research projects. This role is responsible for collecting, verifying, and maintaining data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to supporting the overall quality and integrity of survey outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Conduct outbound and follow-up telephone calls to collect, clarify, and verify survey data.
• Research and confirm information using online sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform accurate and efficient data entry in survey databases and tracking systems.
• Maintain detailed records of responses, contacts, and follow-ups in accordance with project guidelines.
• Review and validate questionnaire responses through logic and value checks to ensure data integrity.
• Apply coding procedures to survey questionnaire items following established protocols.
• Support general office and project-related administrative tasks as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
• Some college coursework preferred; associate degree or higher a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• General familiarity with educational systems or terminology preferred.
• Experience with recordkeeping, data entry, or administrative support strongly desired.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.

COMPENSATION: $18.40 per hour (Less than 30hrs per week)
WORKING AT AIP: AIP embraces a flexible hybrid work environment to balance in-person collaborative work with remote work. The team works in a flexible, hybrid schedule and reports to our offices in College Park, Maryland and Washington, DC, as needed. Employees are required to reside in the DC Metro regions of Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC.
