Swimming Pool Plan Drafter

Affinity Outdoor Living is a growing U.S.-based company specializing in custom swimming pools, pool design, and outdoor living projects.

We are looking for a Swimming Pool Plan Drafter / CAD Drafter to join our remote team in Colombia.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in architectural drafting, CAD, technical drawing, construction drafting, landscape design, or a related field who is interested in learning the specialized process of creating swimming pool plans for residential projects.

You don't need to be an architect or have previous swimming pool experience. We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

• Create accurate swimming pool plans and technical drawings following our established drafting process.
• Prepare and revise architectural and construction drawings for residential swimming pool projects.
• Work with measurements, dimensions, layouts, and project information to create detailed plans.
• Learn and use the software and tools required for pool design and drafting.
• Make revisions and updates based on project requirements and feedback.
• Work closely with our drafting and project management teams.
• Follow established standards and procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy.
• Develop your knowledge of swimming pool design, construction drawings, and residential outdoor living projects.

• Background in Architectural Drafting, CAD, Technical Drawing, Construction Drafting, Civil Drafting, Landscape Design/Drafting, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• Experience creating technical drawings, construction drawings, architectural drawings, or site plans.
• Experience with AutoCAD, CAD, or similar drafting software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to understand measurements, dimensions, scale, and technical information.
• Ability and willingness to learn new software and processes.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Working English proficiency. Advanced English is not required, but you should be comfortable understanding instructions and communicating with a U.S.-based team.
• Pool Studio experience is a plus, but not required.
