System Administrator (WFH - Nightshift)

Job Summary

The Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, security, backup, disaster recovery, and SaaS platforms. The role provides technical expertise for complex infrastructure issues, supports infrastructure projects and improvements, and serves as an escalation point for advanced technical concerns.

Job Description

• Design, implement, support, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure hardware and software platforms.

• Manage and support servers, storage systems, networking technologies, security devices, backup solutions, disaster recovery systems, and SaaS applications.

• Perform infrastructure administration, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues.

• Serve as an escalation point for advanced infrastructure-related incidents.

• Support infrastructure implementation, upgrades, migrations, and technical projects.

• Evaluate and research new technologies, systems, and architecture improvements to support business objectives.

• Develop technical recommendations, cost estimates, and upgrade plans for infrastructure enhancements.

• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and execution.

• Maintain and improve IT standards, processes, procedures, and technical documentation.

• Ensure infrastructure environments are maintained according to established policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Maintain current technical knowledge through continuous learning, industry research, and professional development.

• Collaborate with technical teams, management, vendors, and stakeholders on infrastructure projects and technical initiatives.

• Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance for assigned infrastructure systems.

• Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and project updates effectively to relevant stakeholders.

Screening Criteria

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or related IT infrastructure roles.

• Experience working with SaaS platforms and enterprise applications.

• Must have a stable employment history.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing and troubleshooting servers, storage systems, networking technologies, and security infrastructure.

• Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments.

• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

• Experience with infrastructure implementation, upgrades, migrations, and technical projects.

• Demonstrates strong understanding of IT systems architecture and infrastructure best practices.

• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

• Proven ability to work in a structured and regulated environment while following established policies and procedures.

• Willingness to participate in an occasional weekend/weeknight on-call schedule.

• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
