Role Description The System Analyst is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kampala, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves analyzing business processes and system requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear technical specifications, and collaborating with software and infrastructure teams to design effective solutions. The System Analyst will evaluate existing systems, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support implementation activities, including configuration, testing, and documentation. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams, preparing reports and diagrams, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives and technology standards. The role also requires ongoing monitoring of system performance, facilitating user training where needed, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across JTK Tech Company’s digital solutions.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Systems Analysis and Business Analysis skills to translate business needs into technical requirements and workflows.
• Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate system performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Candidates should possess Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with software architectures, databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate effective resolutions.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process modeling tools, and documentation standards (e.g., UML, BPMN) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and security considerations is an added advantage.
