Your work will play a key role in ensuring current and future infrastructure remains fit for purpose and delivers value for our communities. What you will be doing • Apply Performance, Cost, Risk (PCaR) approach to understand service capabilities. • Investigate, and identify potential system risks and engage stakeholders to mitigate the risks through balancing performance, cost and risk. • Review and update Consequence of Failure Guidelines & Assessments • Monitoring & prioritising system risks across Wastewater Treatment • Facilitation of System Interface Groups (SIG) to represent the System Plans, assessing changes in context (eg regulatory or licence change), configuration and/or risk that require collaboration across the value chain to meet customer outcomes • Support in development and implementation of the system plans • Ensure asset classes and systems are aligned to deliver required performance outcomes, customer expectations and service targets. • Using asset performance data, identify emerging risks, performance trends, and improvement opportunities, supporting asset reliability and operational outcomes. • Conduct asset management audits and reviews, including regulatory, licence and internal compliance activities, and track and close out audit findings and improvement actions. About You You will have qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline, (or experience deemed equivalent). In addition to strong internal and external stakeholder management skills you will also have: • At least 5 years experience in asset management, ideally in the utilities or similar industry • Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels both internal and external to the organisations, with the ability to establish a high degree of credibility. • Experience across relevant products/asset classes and integrated water cycle management. • Advanced knowledge of Sydney Water’s operating and regulatory environment. • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and identify trends and risks.
