Working with stakeholders for our water resource recovery (wastewater treatment) facilities, you will help optimise asset performance, risk, cost and regulatory compliance while supporting customer, environmental and strategic objectives. Your work will play a key role in ensuring current and future infrastructure remains fit for purpose and delivers value for our communities. What you will be doing • Support the development and implementation of asset management strategies, frameworks and plans across the relevant asset portfolio. • Help ensure asset classes and systems are aligned to deliver required performance outcomes, customer expectations and service targets. • Analyse asset performance data to identify emerging risks, performance trends, and improvement opportunities, supporting asset reliability and operational outcomes. • Assist with operational and risk reviews to understand service capability gaps and support the development of effective mitigation actions. • Support asset management audits and reviews, including regulatory, licence and internal compliance activities, and help track and close out audit findings and improvement actions. About You You should hold further qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline, (or experience deemed equivalent). In addition to strong internal and external stakeholder management skills you will also have • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels both internal and external to the organisations, with the ability to establish a high degree of credibility. • Experience across relevant products/asset classes and integrated water cycle management. • Knowledge of Sydney Water’s operating and regulatory environment. • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and identify trends and risks.
