Join us and be part of a global, collaborative team where trust and innovation drive everything we do. 📌 About the role and what you’ll do The System Architect will define and govern the architecture of Identity Document Issuance and Management platforms, covering applications, infrastructure, integration, and physical and cyber security. Working with a collaborative and highly skilled team, the role will provide strategic technical leadership, shape technology roadmaps, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with EU requirements. Main missions: The System Architect will be responsible for: · Defining and owning the application, server, security and infrastructure architecture of assigned business systems, in line with organisational, industry and EU requirements. · Establishing architecture standards, governance frameworks and technology roadmaps across engineering and operations. · Designing and approving high-level architectures covering hosting, system integration, resilience and disaster recovery, security, authentication and PKI. · Assessing emerging technologies and recommending solutions that improve business capability, efficiency, security and maintainability. · Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Information Security, Product and Project Management, as well as external partners. · Providing technical leadership and architectural guidance to senior engineers and supporting strategic technology decisions. Non-exhaustive list. 📍 About you The successful candidate will be an experienced technology leader with a proven track record in enterprise architecture, secure infrastructure design and strategical technology leadership. They will possess the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions while influencing stakeholders across multiple functions. Qualifications, Education & Experience 🎓 Education You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field. Professional certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent, would be a strong advantage. 🚀 What will make you successful We're looking for an experienced technology leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning ambitious ideas into robust, scalable solutions. You will bring: 8+ years of experience in Enterprise, Infrastructure or Solution Architecture. A proven ability to design secure, resilient and highly available enterprise platforms, including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies. Experience defining architecture standards, governance frameworks and long-term technology roadmaps. A strong track record of leading architectural decisions across complex, cross-functional programmes. Experience working within highly regulated, security-driven or mission-critical environments. Just as importantly, you enjoy sharing your expertise. You'll collaborate with our collaborative Engineering, Operations, Information Security and Product/Project Management teams, providing technical leadership, mentoring architects and engineers, and influencing senior stakeholders to deliver innovative, secure and sustainable solutions. 💡 Technical Expertise You'll feel at home working across a broad enterprise technology landscape, including: Enterprise & Solution Architecture Application & Integration Architecture PKI and Digital Identity Architecture Governance & Standards Technology Strategy & Roadmaps Nice to have: experience with SIEM, security monitoring, firewall and network architecture, backup, disaster recovery and wider infrastructure operations.
