Overview: We are currently hiring a Systems Administrator in Newport News, VA. Description: Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. Linux Systems Operations: Configure, monitor, and actively troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and environments. Serve as an escalation point for complex RHEL operational issues. Architect and manage large-scale virtualization environments, including VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and cloud-based platforms. Design and implement converged infrastructure solutions, such as Simplivity, to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs. Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or other languages to streamline complex administrative tasks. Qualifications: US Citizenship. Bachelor’s Degree. (A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.) 8 years of relevant experience. What are 3 things the Hiring Manager is looking for? Windows Server design, deployment, security, and support in an enterprise environment. Server virtualization and automation expertise in an enterprise environment. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOX. Additional Information: 5 openings available for varying experience levels.
