ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Senior IT Support and Systems Administrator to provide second-line support and systems administration in a hybrid environment based in Trofa. This opportunity is within a corporate technology environment and focuses on infrastructure reliability, user support, secure operations and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Analyse and resolve complex second-line incidents related to networks, operating systems and corporate applications.
- Install, configure and maintain workstations, printers, peripherals and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls.
- Administer and monitor physical and virtual servers.
- Support Windows and Linux operating systems across desktop and server environments.
- Implement security policies and contribute to access control practices.
- Manage backups, recovery procedures and disaster recovery activities.
- Monitor system performance, analyse logs and report on operational indicators.
- Apply software updates, vulnerability corrections and security patches.
- Provide second-level technical support for infrastructure incidents and problems.
- Document procedures, configurations and technical solutions.
- Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives and new system implementations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to improve support processes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Senior experience in IT support, systems administration or similar infrastructure roles.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in comparable technical environments.
- Technical or higher education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar area is valued.
- Ability to work autonomously on complex support and infrastructure topics.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to operational continuity.
- Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented approach.
- Professional working proficiency in Portuguese.
- Intermediate working proficiency in English.
- Availability to work on-site in Trofa three days per week.
- Availability to start within 30 to 60 days.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY
Base salary range: EUR 17 000 - EUR 19 000 gross/year
Total compensation: up to EUR 22 000/year
The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
