Systems Administrator | Long-Term Contract | Brussels (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled infrastructure professional to join a prestigious organisation in Brussels on a contract assignment of up to 3 years. This is an excellent opportunity to work with large-scale, mission-critical systems where security, reliability, and performance are paramount.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise-level environments, ensuring the highest standards of availability, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016-2022)

✅ Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), AGPM, and File Services

✅ Automate and streamline administration tasks using PowerShell

✅ Handle incidents, service requests, and change activities through ServiceNow

✅ Support highly secure and confidential environments with a strong focus on security best practices

✅ Manage and maintain virtualised infrastructures across:

• VMware (Enterprise Environment)
• Hyper-V (Delegation Environments)
• Nutanix/RESCOM (Restricted Environment)

✅ Ensure platform stability, performance, resilience, and compliance across all supported systems

Essential Skills & Experience

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Strong experience administering Windows Server 2016-2022
• Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, AGPM, and File Server technologies
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Proven experience working within security-conscious enterprise environments
• Experience supporting virtualised platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• English language proficiency at C1 level or above

Nice to Have

Exposure to any of the following technologies would be advantageous:

• CrowdStrike
• Palo Alto Networks
• Cisco Networking
• Commvault
• NetApp Storage
• Red Hat Linux

(Dedicated specialist teams manage these technologies, so hands-on expertise is beneficial but not essential.)

Working Pattern

Brussels

Hybrid working: 2 days remote / 3 days onsite

Rotational shifts required:

• 06:00 - 14:30
• 13:30 - 22:00
