Lokalizacja: Dział: Allegro sp. z o.o. Zespół: Technology Rodzaj umowy: Pracownik Opis stanowiska About the job Our team drives the solutions that build a modern, secure, and resilient workplace ecosystem for Allegro employees across the whole Group. As a collaborative team of Systems Engineers and Systems Administrators, we develop the digital workplace environment, powering services such as endpoint management, printing, CCTV, corporate password manager, and many more. We oversee the management, security, and health of all endpoint devices such as macOS/Windows workstations, iOS/Android mobile devices. Our scope also covers infrastructure and internal process automation using modern scripting, managing secure remote access, and scaling our virtual workplace infrastructure. We are also constantly exploring emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, to build smarter services. We work in close collaboration with both highly technical and business teams across the organization, participating in various projects from requirements and system design to final implementation. Our ultimate goal is to create a seamless, best-in-class digital workplace environment that empowers our employees and drives Allegro's growth. Important things for you Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work. Our team is mostly based in Poznan. What will your job involve? Owning and managing complex IT infrastructure services. Designing macro-level architecture and blueprints for new systems, focusing on how different technologies integrate flawlessly, scale, and remain highly available. Managing the full lifecycle of features and services, from initial requirement elicitation and analysis to final system deployment. Designing, implementing, and optimizing proactive monitoring and alerting systems to stay ahead of potential infrastructure anomalies. Automating troubleshooting processes and performing complex root cause analysis on distributed, large-scale systems. Leading and executing key IT infrastructure migration, upgrade, and modernization projects across international environments. Preparing, expanding, and maintaining clear technical documentation, procedures, and task tracking for complex systems Collaborating closely with specialized domain teams across the organization, such as corporate network, security, and IT support. Participating in a 24h on-duty rotation scheme - remaining available via phone and computer to resolve critical service issues outside of core working hours. You’ll be a great fit if you bring: Expert-level knowledge of managing large-scale endpoint environments. Extensive experience with cloud platforms, Windows Server RDS services, and modern virtualization/container platforms (Docker). Strong proficiency in writing scripts (PowerShell / Bash / Python) with a continuous drive toward automation, optimization, and AI-assisted operations. Deep skills in privilege management, building security rules, managing permission sets, and establishing endpoint compliance. The ability to transition smoothly from day-to-day operations to an engineering and systems-thinking mindset, mapping out the "big picture". Strong time management and project management skills, with the capability to autonomously lead projects and seamlessly cooperate with technical and business stakeholders. Great teamwork abilities, minimum B2 English communication skills, and an orientation toward building long-term, supportive business relationships with internal clients and vendors. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional training combined with proven experience in a similar position. Proactivity and a readiness for occasional business trips to work face-to-face with specialized teams across different company locations. A strong orientation toward building long-term relationships with external vendors and effectively navigating stakeholders from both technical and business branches Analytical thinking skills, proactivity, and a strong drive to identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes rather than just temporary patches What's in it for you: Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work. Long term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares (restricted stock units). Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results. Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms). A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and all the necessary accessories. A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers). English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job. A training budget, inter-team tourism ( see more here ), hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings. An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal. Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, Advent of Code, and many other occasions we enjoy. And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here . #goodtobehere means that: You will join a team you can count on - we work with top-class specialists who have knowledge- and experience-sharing in their DNA. You get to choose which technology solves the problem and you are responsible for what you create. You will value our Developer Experience and the full platform of tools and technologies that make creating software easier. We rely on an internal ecosystem based on self-service and widely used tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Consul, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. Thanks to this, you can contribute to Allegro from your very first days on the job. You will be equipped with modern AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, allowing you to focus on developing new services and refining existing ones (also leveraging AI support). You will create solutions that will be used (and loved!) by your friends, family and millions of our customers. You will meet the Allegro Scale, which starts with over 1000 microservices, an open-source data bus (Hermes) with 300K+ rps, a Service Mesh with 1M+ rps, tens of petabytes of data, and production-used machine learning. You will become part of Allegro Tech - We speak at industry conferences, cooperate with tech communities, run our own blog (it's been over 10 years!), record podcasts, lead guilds, and we organize our own internal conference - the Allegro Tech Meeting. We create solutions we love (and can) to talk about! Send us your CV and… see you at Allegro! Don’t wait until you join us! Let's meet online!
