Job Description Summary Ready to help define and build the computer infrastructure for controlling the Next Generation of the Electrical Grid. As a Systems Integration Engineer you will work under limited supervision to perform basic integration and engineering assignments associated with the configuration of secure and reliable computer systems for our Utility customers. Job Description Relocation: Please note that this position does not provide relocation assistance. Candidates must be local to the Bellevue, WA market or able to commute to the Datacenter at least twice weekly. About the Role Join us in defining and building the computer infrastructure that powers the next generation of the electrical grid. As an Infrastructure Architect, you will work under limited supervision to perform integration and engineering tasks, configuring secure and reliable systems that support our mission-critical utility customers. We will not be sponsoring candidates that require Visas now or in the future for this role. Key Responsibilities System Integration: Integrate network hardware, operating systems, and third-party software according to project design criteria and performance objectives. Design & Implementation: Collaborate with lead engineers to implement designs within project schedules. Technical Support: Conduct functional system testing, prepare hardware documentation (design drawings, setup plans, configuration manuals), and support customer demonstrations. Operational Tasks: Handle physical hardware installation (racking, cabling, labeling) and provide support for shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. Professional Engagement: Communicate effectively across organizational levels and maintain a continuous improvement mindset. Availability: May require extended hours, on-call rotation, and occasional travel to domestic or international sites. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of hardware design or integration experience Technical Proficiency: Minimum 1 year of Solid experience with VMware, Windows, and Linux Minimum 1 year of Networking expertise (TCP/IP, configuring switches, routers, and firewalls) 1 year of Hands-on hardware installation skills Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Preferred Skills (Assets) Ability to implement highly available systems (no single point of failure) Experience with Kubernetes and AWS Familiarity with RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) protocols (serial and IP) Proficiency in MS Office and Visio for technical documentation Work Environment & Requirements Hybrid Schedule: Minimum of two days per week required on-site at the Lynwood Datacenter Physical Requirements: Ability to move heavy equipment, storage boxes, and files. Relocation Assistance Provided: No For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $83,300.00 and $124,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
