Talent Acquisition Advisor

Exciting new opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our Talent Acquisition Team supporting CEL - Costain’s multi-discipline in-house engineering and design team who deliver design mainly across Costain projects. As a Talent Acquisition Advisor , you will work with a Talent Acquisition Partner to deliver an effective and inclusive recruitment process with a key focus on candidate experience, the sourcing of candidates as well as ensuring the needs of the external client are met and understood. You will be sourcing candidates for our multi-disciplinary engineering team who deliver engineering and design services across a range of complex projects within the UK Energy, Water, Nuclear, Defence and Transportation sectors. This full time, hybrid role will be predominantly home-based with office attendance in London up to 2 days per week. #LI-MR1 Responsibilities Client Management: Understand current and future opportunities within the client or Framework Lead weekly resource meetings across the framework or client with external client, hiring managers and other relevant parties Guide, advise and influence the client as to market trends and changes in the active candidate market. Support the external client with their interview and talent acquisition processes. Offer suggestions to improve the process to ensure that talent acquisition is delivered in a professional, timely and accurate way. Sourcing: Using all advertising channels and platforms to increase visibility of Costain opportunities to the widest possible network. Adopt a collaborative way of working with entire Talent Acquisition Advisor team and share best practice, new ways of working and maximise candidate opportunities by understanding open and future requirements across all Costain sectors Offer and Onboarding co-ordination: Work in partnership with the on-boarding team and the hiring manager to co-ordinate the offer process to ensure candidates get accurate and attractive offers quickly. Stay in regular contact with candidates and managers throughout the process to ensure an excellent candidate experience if required to do so by Talent Acquisition Partner Leverage technology: Ensure all relevant technology is fully utilised, and embrace new functionality Ensure all information is accurately reflected in Applicant Tracking System so source information is accurately recorded and reported on. Behaviours and Values: Responsibility for working in accordance with the Costain Way Maintaining and developing personal understanding of the Costain Behaviours and Values Being strong ambassadors for Talent Acquisition and Costain Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential Current or recent UK knowledge and experience of working with an ATS, ideally Oracle HCM, LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate generating platforms for in-house Talent Acquisition Teams. Practical knowledge and proven experience of working on and resourcing for multi-discipline Engineering & Design roles ideally within the UK Infrastructure sector. Microsoft Office skills - proven ability to efficiently use applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to perform workplace tasks, enhance productivity, and support collaboration across industries. External client stakeholder experience with evidence of being able to influence a client. Focus on learning, personal growth, and development within the field of Talent Acquisition Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality. Ability to prioritise and operate with sense of urgency and pace, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and proactively; demonstrates initiative - a self-starter who raises their hand for new opportunities Excellent interpersonal skills and a true customer service orientation, internal and external
