Position Summary

Elaya Health Specialty Services is a growing healthcare company offering doctor services in SNF. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee clinical recruitment and administrative HR functions for our specialty medical practice. In this dual-function role, you will lead end-to-end recruitment efforts to attract high-caliber healthcare professionals—including Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistants (MAs)—while supporting day-to-day HR administrative operations, including oversight of scheduling, credentialing, and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Full-Cycle Clinical Recruiting: Source, attract, screen, interview, and coordinate hires for Advanced Practice Providers (NPs, PAs), nursing staff (RNs), and clinical support personnel (MAs).
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize specialized job boards, medical professional networks, social channels, and regional career fairs to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Selection & Scheduling: Conduct initial HR screenings, assess clinical cultural fit, and manage interview schedules with clinical department leaders and management.
  • Offer & Negotiation: Draft, extend, and negotiate competitive offer letters in collaboration with management.

HR Administration & Onboarding

  • Credentialing & Compliance: Manage primary source verification, medical license checks, DEA registrations, certifications (BLS/ACLS), background checks, and drug screenings prior to start dates.
  • Onboarding & Orientation: Facilitate seamless clinical onboarding, including initial orientation schedules, system access requests, and compliance training setup.
  • HR Records Management: Maintain accurate employee files, licensures, expiration tracking, and HR database records in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Employee Relations Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave policies, and practice procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and MS Office / Google Workspace suite.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal presence.
  • Organization: High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a specialty medical practice or outpatient clinical setting.
  • Experience: 3+ years administrative experience, with direct experience recruiting healthcare/clinical personnel (NPs, PAs, RNs, MAs) preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Basic familiarity with healthcare credentialing standards, HIPAA compliance, and employment law basics a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Insurance stipend
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • 401(k) retirement plan
