What You'll Do

You will support the North American Talent Acquisition Analytics team in analyzing data and generating insights that shape our talent acquisition strategies. This role offers the opportunity to develop advanced analytical skills and gain a deep understanding of how analytics drives business success within a leading global consulting firm. The Talent Acquisition Assistant must have advanced technical knowledge, effective communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to work independently, prioritize work, and have a proactive approach. This position demands outstanding multi-tasking ability and an eagerness to learn. Attention to detail, ability to deal with ambiguity, and strong customer service ethics are needed for success.

You’re good at

  • Analyze large datasets related to recruitment metrics, candidate pipelines, and hiring trends. Develop visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and integration to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data for analysis.
  • Produce regular reports on key recruitment metrics and provide actionable insights to BCG’s Talent Acquisition team.
  • Work closely with recruiters, cohort teams, and other business functions to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for repetitive tasks within the recruitment process using scripts, tools, or other techniques.
  • Partnering with the Recruiting Operations and Analytics team to create and execute system reports and queries.
  • Assisting with special projects and analyses as needed.


What You'll Bring

  • BA/BS degree required; majors with a quantitative focus preferred (STEM, economics, finance, sociology)
  • 0-2 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant work experience
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Python or SQL for data analysis
  • Strong skills in data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools, for data analysis, reporting, and presentations
  • Ability to approach complex problems analytically and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills; demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and handle competing priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; performing tasks with high degree of accuracy
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; convey a positive personal and professional image consistent with the firm’s culture and value
  • Maturity and professionalism at all times; recognize and maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team; build strong relationships with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong service orientation in responding to stakeholder needs
  • A high degree of flexibility in a demanding, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment; demonstrate ability to remain calm under pressure and comfort working with minimal direction

You will work with members of our NAMR Talent Acquisition function, as well as BCG People Team and technical stakeholders as needed, to ensure effective, data driven decision making in recruiting.

That's why we operate on a hybrid model, with the expectation that team members will be in the office 3 to 5 days per week. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work.

Compensation

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

The base salary range for this role begins at $57,000 in our lowest cost geography and goes up to $79,000 in our highest cost geography. Your recruiting contact can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

This is an estimated range and specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as office location, experience, and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a discretionary bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
