The Talent Acquisition Consultant will partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and key stakeholders to execute recruiting strategies, proactively source and engage candidates, and deliver a strong candidate and hiring manager experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and experienced in recruiting technology professionals within a fast-paced environment.
The Talent Acquisition Consultant is expected to demonstrate strong performance in the following areas:
Strategic Recruiting and Sourcing
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interview management, candidate communication, and offer coordination for positions across the United States and Canada.
- Recruit for a variety of technology and consulting skill sets, including CRM, AI, Oracle Cloud ERP & EPM, enterprise applications, and other Digital/ Technical capabilities.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand role requirements, skill needs, and business priorities.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage qualified active and passive candidates.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels to build candidate pipelines.
- Support the development and refinement of consistent, branded job descriptions and recruiting materials.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information within Workday and other recruiting systems.
- Support proactive pipeline development for recurring and difficult-to-fill technology skill sets.
Client Relationship Management
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Manage multiple requisitions and recruiting priorities while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and organization.
- Provide consistent updates to hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines, recruiting activity, market conditions, challenges, and progress.
- Leverage market intelligence and recruiting data to help inform sourcing strategies and hiring decisions.
- Build collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Resource Management, Compensation, Operations, and Talent Acquisition colleagues.
- Escalate recruiting challenges appropriately and partner with more senior team members when additional guidance is needed.
Talent Assessment
- Learn and apply Huron’s interview and assessment framework to support consistent candidate evaluation.
- Review resumes and candidate profiles to assess alignment with role requirements, technical experience, consulting background, and relevant industry expertise.
- Conduct recruiter screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, career interests, compensation expectations, work authorization, location, and overall alignment with the opportunity.
- Prepare clear and concise candidate summaries for hiring managers following recruiter screens.
- Support hiring managers throughout the interview process and help facilitate timely feedback and decision-making.
- Participate in interview debriefs and help ensure candidates are assessed consistently against established requirements.
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a positive, professional, and responsive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates regarding interview progress, next steps, and hiring decisions.
- Partner with recruiting coordinators to support interview scheduling and logistics.
- Ensure candidates receive consistent communication throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
- Represent Huron professionally and help communicate the firm’s culture, opportunities, and employee value proposition to prospective talent.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner closely with recruiters, coordinators, Resource Management, HR, onboarding teams, and business stakeholders to support an efficient hiring process.
- Participate in Talent Acquisition team meetings, recruiting initiatives, and process improvement activities.
- Maintain strong communication with hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines, recruiting progress, and potential risks.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling candidate and business information.
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing Talent Acquisition team environment.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Current U.S. work authorization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a corporate environment, professional services organization, technology company, staffing firm, or executive search firm.
- Experience recruiting technology professionals, preferably within enterprise applications, consulting, or professional services environments.
- Experience recruiting for skill sets such as AI, CRM, Oracle HCM, Oracle Cloud, ERP, enterprise applications, or related digital technologies strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ATS/CRM systems, and sourcing tools; experience with Workday Recruiting preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate recruiting data.
- Exposure to immigration, work authorization, or mobility processes is preferred.
