Salary Range: $17.00 To $19.00 Annually Talent Acquisition Coordinator – Entry Level Location: Texas - must be within a 25-mile radius of Hiatus Day Spa + Med Spa Department: People & Culture – Talent Acquisition Position Type: Full-Time / Hybrid role Travel: Occasional local travel for hiring events and in-spa support Reports To: Talent Operations Manager About Hiatus Hiatus Day Spa + Med Spa is a modern wellness brand built around the belief that regular self-care should be part of everyone’s life. With 12+ locations across Texas, more than 12,000 members, and continued growth ahead, we are committed to delivering exceptional experiences through talented people who embody the Hiatus Way. We are looking for an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing recruiting team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their recruiting or HR career who wants hands-on experience supporting full-cycle hiring in the spa and medical-aesthetics industry. The Opportunity The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a critical first-touch role in the candidate experience. You will review incoming applications, conduct initial phone conversations with candidates to confirm licensure, availability, and interest, and determine whether they are a strong fit to move forward to a virtual interview with the Talent Team. When you identify a good fit, you will schedule their next interview and ensure a smooth handoff. You will also help keep the hiring pipeline full by supporting sourcing efforts across platforms such as Indeed and Hireline, and by assisting with hiring events when candidate flow slows in any market. This role is ideal for someone who is curious about a career in talent acquisition or HR, enjoys talking to people, and wants to build a strong foundation in recruiting fundamentals. What You’ll Do Candidate Screening and Qualification Review incoming resumes and applications for spa and med-spa positions, including aesthetic injectors, massage therapists, estheticians and nail therapists, to identify qualified candidates. Conduct initial phone screens with candidates to confirm licensure, certifications, availability, compensation expectations, and general interest in Hiatus. Ask thoughtful questions to assess whether a candidate’s experience and availability align with open positions. Determine which candidates are ready to move forward to a virtual interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner or hiring leader. Schedule qualified candidates for their next-step interview and confirm details with both the candidate and the hiring team. Provide a warm, professional, and responsive first impression of the Hiatus brand throughout every candidate interaction. Accurately log candidate activity, screening notes, and outcomes within the applicant tracking system. Sourcing and Pipeline Support Monitor and manage candidate flow through sourcing platforms including Indeed and Hireline. Proactively reach out to applicants and passive leads to keep the pipeline moving, especially in markets where incoming applications are slow. Help maintain job postings, candidate pools, and pipeline health across assigned locations. Flag sourcing gaps, hard-to-fill roles, or slowing pipelines to the Talent Acquisition team. Hiring Event and In-Spa Support Assist with the coordination and day-of support of hiring events, career fairs and recruiting pop-ups. Provide occasional in-spa support to meet candidates, represent the Hiatus brand and assist with on-site interviews or practicals. Help set up, staff and follow up on candidates met through hiring events and community touchpoints. Coordination and Administration Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring leaders to understand current openings and priorities in each market. Communicate candidate status updates clearly and promptly to internal stakeholders. Support general recruiting administration, including scheduling, candidate communications and reporting, as needed. Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling candidate and employee information. What We’re Looking For 6 months–2 years of experience in recruiting, customer service, administrative support, or a related field; prior recruiting or HR exposure is a plus. Genuine interest in building a career in talent acquisition or HR, ideally within the spa, wellness, beauty, or medical-aesthetics industry. Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and represent the Hiatus brand professionally. Comfortable conducting structured phone conversations and asking clarifying questions about licensure and availability. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple candidates and openings at once. Dependable and responsive, with a sense of urgency around candidate follow-up and scheduling. Comfortable using an applicant tracking system; experience with ADP Workforce Now, Indeed, or Hireline is a plus. Willingness to travel locally on occasion to support hiring events and in-spa recruiting activities. You’ll Be Successful in This Role If You Are Personable: You make a great first impression and put candidates at ease. Organized: You keep track of multiple candidates and next steps without letting anything slip. Curious: You’re eager to learn the ins and outs of full-cycle recruiting and grow within the Talent Acquisition team. Responsive: You follow up quickly and keep candidates and hiring leaders in the loop. Reliable: You show up consistently and can be counted on to complete screenings and scheduling on time. Team-Oriented: You enjoy supporting a broader Talent Team and pitching in wherever needed. Adaptable: You’re comfortable balancing remote work with occasional in-spa and hiring event support. Why Join Hiatus? At Hiatus, you will build a strong foundation in talent acquisition while directly contributing to the growth of a beloved Texas brand. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full candidate journey, work closely with an experienced Talent Acquisition team, and help connect talented professionals with meaningful careers. We offer a collaborative culture, opportunities for professional growth, competitive benefits, and the chance to make a visible impact from day one. If you’re energized by talking to people, staying organized and helping build great teams, we would love to meet you.
