Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and work onsite at our Hillsboro office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with hiring managers and HR team to plan, post and search for current and future needs.
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts to ensure a continuous pipeline of talent.
  • Coordinate and attend job fairs, community events, and other recruitment events.
  • Evaluate applicants using a variety of screening and assessment techniques.
  • Ensure an up-to-date applicant tracking system.
  • Work with hiring managers and HR to make hiring recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of standard HR practices and current fair employment practices.
  • Source candidates utilizing online job boards, social media, LinkedIn & online searches, industry contacts, professional networks, etc.
  • Engage with active and passive talent and connect them to current job opportunities.
  • Prescreen candidates via phone, video, and/or in-person interviews.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
  • Manage new employee onboarding and orientation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

This is a mid-level position for applicants with a background in professional recruiting of professional engineers. We are looking for candidates with the following:
  • At least 3+ years recruiting experience, agency recruiting preferred.
  • Previous Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter, Indeed and/or other recruiting software experience.
  • Strong understanding of standard HR practices and current fair employment practices.
  • Client focused mindset, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Experience sourcing candidates utilizing online job boards, social media, LinkedIn & online searches, industry contacts, professional networks, Boolean searches.
  • Strong experience prescreening candidates via phone, video, and/or in-person interviews.
  • Ability to coach hiring managers on procedural issues, using strong interpersonal and influence skills to gain alignment where needed. An applied knowledge of direct candidate attraction techniques (such as pipelining and advanced LinkedIn Recruiter/Boolean).
  • High attention to detail through a personable and professional approach.
  • Ability to deliver excellent candidate experience in a candidate-led market.
  • Ability to work proactively and manage own workload.
