Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will support the recruitment and hiring of engineering, technical, and professional talent across a variety of industries and disciplines. This role is ideal for an energetic, relationship-focused professional who enjoys interacting with people, building networks, and helping candidates find career opportunities. You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates throughout the hiring process while developing your recruiting and talent acquisition skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify potential candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and networking activities
• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Assist with job postings and recruitment marketing efforts
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting data within applicant tracking systems and internal databases
• Support candidate communication throughout the recruiting process
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements and hiring priorities
• Participate in career fairs, networking events, and university outreach activities
• Assist with onboarding and pre-employment processes
• Provide a positive candidate experience through professional and timely communication
• Support recruiting process improvement initiatives and talent acquisition projects

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 1+ year of experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, sales, administrative support, or a related field preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop recruiting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with candidate sourcing or recruiting activities
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards, or applicant tracking systems
• Interest in engineering, manufacturing, technology, or technical careers
• Experience working in customer-facing, sales, staffing, or human resources environments
• Experience supporting campus recruiting, career fairs, or networking events
