The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage full-cycle corporate recruitment across multiple offices and operating companies, supporting a wide range of roles from project managers and engineers to drill operators and other technical positions. This role focuses on proactively driving the recruitment process, partnering closely with hiring managers to keep candidate movement on track and prevent delays, while ensuring an excellent candidate experience from initial sourcing through onboarding.
Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle recruitment for multiple offices and work locations, from initial requisition to onboarding.
- Partner closely with hiring managers across different locations and skill sets, including project managers, project engineers, drill operators, and other technical roles, to understand hiring needs and priorities.
- Source qualified candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach.
- Create and post engaging job advertisements, monitor performance, and follow up to ensure a steady pipeline of applicants.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview panels, ensuring timely communication and a smooth candidate experience.
- Track candidates through the recruitment process using an applicant tracking system (ATS), keeping records accurate and up to date.
- Lead offer discussions, including extending offers and negotiating terms with candidates in alignment with company guidelines.
- Drive the decision-making process with managers, maintaining urgency and momentum so candidates are not lost due to delays.
- Prepare and manage offer letters and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Facilitate onboarding activities, coordinating with human resources and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Support employee engagement and development initiatives as they relate to the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience across the organization.
- Utilize ADP Workforce or similar systems, where applicable, to support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding workflows.
- At least 2 years of full-cycle corporate recruitment experience.
- Demonstrated success managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Experience recruiting for a variety of roles and skill sets, such as project managers, engineers, and field or operations staff.
- Strong talent acquisition and recruiting expertise, with the ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines.
- Proven ability to coordinate and schedule interviews efficiently across multiple stakeholders and locations.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidates and requisitions.
- Ability to negotiate offers and manage candidate expectations with professionalism and clarity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and candidates.
- Assertive and proactive approach with hiring managers to maintain urgency and keep the recruitment process moving.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding of human resources principles related to hiring, onboarding, and employee engagement.
- Experience recruiting in construction, geotechnical, or similar technical industries is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with geotechnical construction or related fields is beneficial.
- Experience with ADP Workforce is a plus but not required.
- Background in employee engagement and employee development initiatives is advantageous.
- Comfort working with multiple operating companies and diverse teams across different locations.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while maintaining strong collaboration with office-based teams.
The role begins with an in-office training period during the first month to ensure strong onboarding and familiarity with the team, processes, and projects. After training, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule Monday through Friday, generally within a 7:004:00 or 8:005:00 window, with a typical pattern of three days in the office and two days remote. The specific in-office days are flexible and can be selected in coordination with the team. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
