About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 S&P Global Corporate The Role: Talent System Administrator (JSON) About the Role: We’re seeking a JSON Developer to help build and enhance features within our SaaS talent marketplace through Eightfold AI. This role combines hands-on coding—particularly working with JSON-driven configurations and integrations—with ongoing support for end-user and internal technical issues. You’ll contribute to UI-related enhancements, implement platform changes, and help troubleshoot and resolve production support queries. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain features, enhancements, and platform changes for the talent marketplace using JSON-based approaches. Support UI updates and improvements that are driven by configuration, data models, and front-end/back-end integration patterns. Build, test, and document changes to ensure releases meet quality and reliability expectations. Investigate and resolve technical issues reported through the support process, including reproducing bugs and analyzing logs/requests/responses. Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., product, operations, support, and engineering teams) to translate requirements into working solutions. Provide timely, accurate support for platform-related inquiries, including root-cause analysis and follow-up actions. Maintain clear technical documentation for implemented changes, troubleshooting steps, and known issues. Participate in iterative improvements to development and support workflows. Design and co-own end-to-end integration architecture. Define data migration strategy (initial loads, delta syncs, reconciliation). Lead technical discovery workshops with stakeholders. Establish integration design patterns and governance standards. Provide technical leadership across delivery lifecycle. Required Qualifications: SQL + ETL tools explicitly Data modeling + transformation experience. Experience with integration frameworks (REST, SSO, middleware). Experience leading implementations or technical workstreams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with UI-related enhancements (e.g., implementing configuration changes that affect screens, workflows, or user experiences). Familiarity with common SaaS deployment practices, release cycles, and support/incident workflows. Experience with scripting or programming languages commonly used alongside JSON (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#). Experience using API testing tools and log/telemetry sources to diagnose issues. Knowledge of learning-focused workflows or education technology platforms.
