Tax Manager

We are currently representing a leading global Financial Services firm in the appointment of high-calibre professionals as part of a period of strategic growth and investment. Our client operates at the intersection of corporate, fiduciary and regulatory services, partnering with private equity houses, investment managers and international financial institutions. Backed by long-term institutional investment and an established global brand, the firm is scaling its capabilities, technology and international footprint. Our client is creating a dedicated global tax function for the first time, and we're looking for an ambitious tax leader who wants the opportunity to build, influence and leave a lasting mark on a growing international business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll be the go-to tax expert across a global organisation spanning multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities You'll be responsible for creating and leading the tax agenda across the business, including: Building a robust global tax framework, governance model and compliance strategy. Acting as the trusted adviser to the CFO and leadership team on all tax matters. Leading corporate tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Supporting commercial decision-making, growth initiatives and international expansion. Managing relationships with external advisers and tax authorities. Overseeing tax reporting, audits, risk management and ongoing regulatory compliance. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Able to demonstrate a professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent. Significant experience across corporate tax, international tax and indirect tax, ideally gained within financial services, professional services or consulting. Strong transfer pricing and multi-jurisdictional tax expertise. A track record of improving governance, controls and compliance frameworks. The confidence to operate independently and influence senior stakeholders. A commercial mindset and the ability to turn complex tax issues into practical business solutions.
