#LI-BL1 #LI-HYBRID Essential Functions and Primary Duties Review federal and state corporate returns; Review high level federal and state partnership returns. Train and supervise staff, review and evaluate their work. Perform evaluations on lower level staff. Manage compliance engagements, from budgeting to scheduling to managing staff. Make suggestions to help improve efficiencies, within department and on engagements. Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate interest and knowledge of client's business Perform research and draft memoranda on corporate tax issues. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field Bachelor’s degree with a preference of study in Accounting or related field 5+ years’ of relevant work and industry experience Prior experience managing engagements and clients Ability to work independently, but also work well with others Enrolled Agent designation Strong technical and broad based advisory and client management skills Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field 3 years supervisory experience Must have active CPA or equivalent certification Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally Must be able to travel based on client and business needs Proficient use of applicable technology
