Tax Manager - Private Client

We are seeking a Senior Manager to work within our Tax Advisory team. The role would be based predominantly in our Worthing office, with the flexibility to also work from home and/or our Gatwick, Brighton or Chichester offices. Our team provide tax advice across a wide variety of sectors and taxes, and you will need to have proven experience in both corporate and personal taxes. Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and business owners, building trusted and effective client relationships. Providing advice on estate planning, inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax planning, trusts, and succession planning. Managing and reviewing complex self-assessment tax returns, trust tax returns, and related compliance obligations. Advising clients on wealth preservation strategies and opportunities to mitigate inheritance tax and capital gains tax liabilities. Supporting clients with trust creation, administration, and taxation matters. Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering practical, commercially focused advice tailored to clients' objectives. Working closely with Partners and colleagues across the wider business to deliver integrated tax and financial planning solutions. Assisting with the implementation of advisory projects and maintaining high technical standards across the portfolio. Line management responsibilities for junior members of the team, providing regular feedback and supporting their development. ent. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Proven experience working within Private Client Tax. Strong knowledge of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trusts, and estate planning. Experience managing both advisory and compliance work for high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. CTA qualified is advantageous; however, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified candidates with relevant private client tax experience will also be considered.
