Hybrid Work HCVT currently offers a hybrid work model that allows eligible employees to work both remotely and in the office, based on business needs and team coordination. When working remotely, employees are expected to meet the same performance standards, adhere to the same policies, and maintain the same level of communication, collaboration, and responsiveness as working in the office. HCVT works under a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to work at their assigned office a minimum of two days per week. In the event that this is not geographically reasonable, you may work in the office closest to your home. Additionally, we expect employees to participate in required firm events/meeting (e.g., trainings, team bonding, client meetings, etc.) As a Staff in our Tax service line, you will be responsible for the following: Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts and its related income tax work papers Prepare and respond to correspondences from taxing authorities Identify accounting and income tax issues and proposes strategies to resolve them Perform tax technical research as needed Perform self-review of work Learn and effectively utilize firm tax software to continually learn, knowledge sharing, and enhance the quality of service to clients Work closely with a team and communicates job status with all levels of the engagement team Complete assigned projects within engagement timeline and budget guidelines Develop strong relationships with firm professionals at all levels Participate in firm trainings, recruiting events, and firm activities Work with your buddy and performance manager on professional development of both technical and soft skills To be successful, these are the skills and experience you will need: Bachelor's degree in accounting or on track to completing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a master’s degree in accounting between December 2026 – June 2027. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000.
